As a creative/experience director with a strong technical background, Bassil Silim-Jones produces visual and interactive content that communicates, entertains and inspires people from all over the world. With over a decade of professional experience in digital media, He’s dedicated the last eight years to AR and VR and has produced over 20 AR applications and 10 VR experiences for major brands.

As an entrepreneur at heart, he co-founded Merchlar (2010), an award-winning digital agency that pioneered the AR & VR sector in Canada. Recent notable project include Fifty Shades Darker: The Masquerade Ball VR and The Mummy VR: A Zero Gravity Stunt with Tom Cruise for Universal Pictures. His last project Dancers of the World reached number 1 world wide on the Samsung VR platform.

Bassil has launched a new venture called Phenomena, to create location-based immersive experiences, to offer an audience experience that will allow to be fully immersed in both the environment and story.
