Having moved to Montréal from Central America aged 7, Carlos is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Carlos attended the acclaimed NAD Centre, studying 3D Animation for Film and TV before working as a 3D generalist and then specialising in compositing at Meteor Studios. It was here that he cut his teeth in film, working across big budget projects including Fantastic Four and 300.

Carlos’ career has been varied and vibrant; he has worked on the Academy Award-winning Happy Feet, Wall- E, Star Trek, Transformers 1&2, Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Carlos returned to Montréal in 2010, and joined Framestore in 2013 That year, Carlos was promoted to Compositing Supervisor for large-scale projects including David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan and Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Carlos became VFX Supervisor for the critically-acclaimed Paddington 2 and is currently working on another animated character-driven movie, Disney’s Christopher Robin.
