Kevin Baillie got his break in the industry at the age of 18 as a Lucasfilm previs artist on the Star Wars prequels. Fast-forwarding 20 years, he is now Co-Founder and VFX Supervisor at Atomic Fiction, a visual effects studio with offices in LA, San Francisco and Montreal. He has supervised visuals for two Star Trek movies, two Transformers installments, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Hellboy, and Robert Zemeckis’s live action films Flight, The Walk, Allied and the upcoming picture based on the story of Marwencol. Kevin is also CEO of Conductor Technologies, a software company enabling cloud rendering for the VFX and Animation industries. As a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Visual Effects Society, Baillie is an active participant in the film community at large.
